Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to define cloud-native architectures on AWS and lead hands-on delivery of infrastructure as code using Pulumi and AWS CDK. You will shape enterprise multi-account designs, guardrails, and cost-aware practices while partnering with engineering teams to ensure architectural fidelity and business impact.

The role emphasizes governance, security, and compliant cloud platforms in regulated environments, with leadership responsibilities mentoring

Qualifications

Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering, with recent enterprise AWS design/delivery.
Experience designing enterprise AWS platforms, multi-account strategies, governance, and IaC.
Experience with regulated industries such as healthcare is preferred.
Experience with embedded architecture or product delivery teams is preferred.
AWS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Define cloud-native architecture patterns across compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and AI/ML workloads on AWS.
Establish cloud architecture standards, guardrails, and reference architectures for secure, scalable solutions.
Prototype infrastructure end-to-end, then hand off to engineering for scale and operation.
Produce architecture diagrams, IaC repos, runbooks, security/compliance docs, and acceptance criteria.
Provide technical leadership, mentor architects/engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
