Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an AWS Platform Technical Lead to own the enterprise AWS platform and drive cloud transformation. You will set architectural direction, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, scalable, IaC-driven deployments across the organization.

You will lead architecture reviews, establish standards for Terraform-based provisioning, and collaborate with security, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud and infrastructure engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience at enterprise scale.
• Proven ownership of AWS Organization, accounts, Billing, SCPs, IAM, and multi-account governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AWS platform end-to-end and ensure stability and compliance.
• Define and maintain AWS Landing Zone, SCPs, billing controls, and account vending patterns.
• Serve as the final technical authority on AWS architecture decisions for scalability and security.
• Build self-service platform capabilities enabling product engineering teams to move fast without compromising standards.
• Lead the AWS cloud engineering team, set direction, review designs and unblock engineers.
• Design and own the Terraform framework for resource provisioning and policy guardrails.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, and ECR.
• Write automation to extend platform functionality and enforce governance via policy-as-code.
