Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an Architect for MuleSoft to provide architectural leadership for platforms powering MuleSoft's global services.

You will define the technical vision for complex infrastructure initiatives and partner with product, security, and SRE teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will influence engineering direction, review architectures, and design for high availability, disaster recovery, and reduced blast radius across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and building large-scale software, cloud, or infra systems.
• Strong architectural judgment and leadership across multiple teams.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS), Kubernetes and containerized infra.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for MuleSoft infrastructure and platforms across cloud, K8s, networking and data stores.
• Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with engineering, product, security, and SRE teams.
• Develop strategies to modernize legacy infra with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Produce architecture docs, reference architectures, and standards for scalable decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across org.
