Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Architect for MuleSoft to provide architectural leadership for the platforms powering MuleSoft's globally distributed services. You will shape the technical vision for complex infrastructure initiatives and collaborate across engineering, product, security, and operations to translate requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.

This senior role requires strong architectural judgment and experience guiding multiple teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing and building large-scale software, cloud, or infrastructure systems.
Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and multi-region, high-availability architecture design.
Excellent communication and mentoring of senior technical talent.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architecture for MuleSoft infrastructure and platform services, balancing scalability, availability, security, performance, and cost across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, networking, and data stores.
Serve as a senior technical authority, leading architecture reviews and partnering with engineering leaders, product managers, security, and SRE to evaluate tradeoffs and develop solutions.
Develop strategies for modernizing legacy infrastructure and design for high availability, fault isolation, disaster recovery, and reduced blast radius.
Identify architectural bottlenecks and systemic risks, and produce architecture documentation, reference architectures, and technical standards.
