Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Architect for MuleSoft to provide architectural leadership for scalable, globally distributed platforms and infrastructure. You will define the technical vision across engineering, product, security, and operations, and influence direction through architecture reviews and collaboration with multiple teams.

You will drive end-to-end design for cloud platforms, Kubernetes, DNS, and data stores, focusing on high availability, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and building large-scale software, cloud, or infrastructure systems with senior technical leadership.
• Deep expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker/EKS, and distributed systems concepts.
• Strong knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancing, routing, proxies) and multi-region, disaster-recovery architectures.
• Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and executive audiences and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for MuleSoft infrastructure spanning cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and data stores.
• Lead architecture reviews with engineering leaders, product, security, and SRE to evaluate tradeoffs.
• Develop strategies for modernizing legacy infrastructure and ensure high availability and fault isolation.
• Produce architecture documentation, reference architectures, and technical standards for scalable decisions.
