Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Architect for MuleSoft to provide architectural leadership for platforms and infrastructure powering MuleSoft's services. You will translate business and platform requirements into scalable, secure solutions, influencing engineering direction across teams.

This highly technical leadership role demands broad infrastructure expertise, cloud proficiency, and the ability to drive end-to-end design across distributed systems and multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing and building large-scale software or infrastructure.
Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API architectures.
Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architecture for MuleSoft infrastructure and platform services, balancing scalability, availability, security, and cost.
Lead architecture reviews and partner with engineering leaders, product managers, security, and SRE.
Develop strategies for modernizing legacy infrastructure and design for high availability and disaster recovery.
Produce architecture documentation, reference architectures, and technical standards.
