Job summary

REALIGN LLC seeks a senior Patch Engineer to lead enterprise patching across Linux and Windows. You will design and maintain patching solutions, validate and release patches, and collaborate with security and operations teams to ensure platform compliance.

You will leverage tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Docker/Kubernetes in a cloud-centric environment (GCP preferred; Azure/AWS beneficial).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure operations, DevOps, or patch management.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale patching activities across Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Design, test, certify, and release infrastructure or platform changes in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of OS patch engineering, patch catalogues, patch validation, release readiness, lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, certify, and maintain OS patching solutions and patch catalogues.
• Coordinate patching across Linux and Windows environments in production.
• Integrate vulnerability assessment, security validation, and compliance checks into patching processes.
• Develop automation for patch deployment, validation, rollback, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams to improve platform security and compliance.
