Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Cloud Systems Operation Engineer to maintain, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role focuses on Tier 3 maintenance, automation of routine tasks, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

The engineer will tackle operational and security challenges for unique customers, affecting system reliability and security. Key duties include patching, vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance, and building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud operations or similar field.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Proven Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience applying IAVA/KEV patches and POA&M management.
• Strong STIG compliance knowledge and hardened images.
• Experience scripting and automating maintenance tasks.
• US Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 maintenance and advanced support for cloud systems.
• Perform monthly and emergency patching (IAVA/KEV).
• Lead vulnerability remediation across cloud environments and POA&M input.
• Oversee STIG compliance and hardened image management.
• Automate maintenance and onboarding processes for efficiency.
• Build and secure CI/CD pipelines for patching and config management using GitLab.
• Collaborate with developers and security to minimize service disruption.
