Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Systems/Software Engineer focused on Cloud and On-Premise Software Testing in a hybrid role. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience testing networking and security products, preferably in cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation tools and Playwright.
• Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash) for test automation.
• Experience with AWS is required; networking or security certs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, system, integration, security, performance, and regression testing across cloud-native and virtualized deployments.
• Validate end-to-end systems built with microservices in Kubernetes on AWS and on VMware/KVM hypervisors.
• Generate detailed test reports and documentation outlining results, issues, and recommendations.
• Develop and expand Python- and Playwright-based automation to support repeatable testing.
