Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Systems/Software Engineer for Cloud & On-Premise Software Development to lead design and delivery across cloud-native platforms. This hybrid role involves coordinating across global teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architecture choices for Secure Edge and SASE solutions.

You will influence product direction, manage complex software systems, and contribute to cost-efficiency while advancing security-focused capabilities in on-prem and cloud

Qualifications

• Experience building Cloud product(s) with Microservices architecture.
• Extensive knowledge in Cloud applications and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, software debugging skills.
• Experience designing and developing software systems design tools and languages.
• Experience in architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating software systems on multiple platforms.
• Cross-geography collaboration across time zones and cultures.
• Ability to write robust unit tests and improve code coverage.

Responsibilities

• Owns core software modules end-to-end and mentors junior engineers.
• Develops architectures and methodologies for software systems across platforms.
• Identifies new technologies and creates integration plans with roadmap alignment.
• Reviews designs for compliance with development guidelines and standards.
• Provides guidance to partners and participates in industry standards groups.
• Leads cross-functional engineering initiatives and ensures execution.
• Coaches engineers and promotes best practices across the org.
