Eaton is seeking an IT - Incident Response Engineer to join its Cyber Security Incident Response Team. The role covers on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments with a strong emphasis on incident response, automation, and AI-enabled tooling.

The position requires hands-on response capabilities and collaboration across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). Must reside near Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA with unrestricted US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in security operations, incident response, cloud security, e-Discovery or related field.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• No relocation: must reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24/7 incident response across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead cloud security incident response and CSPM initiatives.
• Develop and tune cloud-native detections and automation playbooks.
• Contribute to SQL/NoSQL/OSINT data collection and forensics.
• Coordinate with IT, cloud, and OT teams during incidents.
