Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Principal Network Engineer for the IHS PATH EHR modernization program. This remote, US-based role requires obtaining a Public Trust Level 5 and supports Oracle/OCI integration, network segmentation, and security-aligned deployments.

You will work with the Cloud Infrastructure team to implement requirements, troubleshoot complex connections, and collaborate with cybersecurity to meet NIST PPSM standards while supporting government stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
• Experience with FedRAMP-authorized cloud environment (OCI preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Implement network requirements to meet customer and program objectives.
• Create device mappings in compliance with VLAN micro segmentation for deployments.
• Troubleshoot OCI connections, VLAN configurations, and system interfaces.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to align with NIST and PPSM policies.
• Develop routing strategies with IHS and Team GDIT networks and cybersecurity.
• Support cross-functional teams with vendor capabilities and greenfield initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and evolve processes.
