Job summary

Boeing Employees Credit Union is seeking a Staff Operations Engineer - Cloud Networking to lead design and reliability of hybrid cloud networking platforms. You will own Azure networking, automation, and infrastructure as code, mentoring engineers and guiding strategy to advance cloud maturity.

In this role, you will build scalable, secure infrastructure, lead CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with architects, product teams, and executives to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of related functional experience with Azure and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience in two or more disciplines with emphasis on Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Services.

Responsibilities

• DesignHybrid Cloud Infrastructure: Create and support bi-modal and hybrid infrastructure in Azure networking.
• Provide Azure Networking Expertise across virtual networks, DNS, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Define Architecture Standards to scale with business needs.
• Champion Secure Engineering Practices with security-first mindset.
• Drive Observability & Reliability with telemetry, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Automate Infrastructure & Networking using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Analyze & Resolve Complex Issues using telemetry and trend analysis.
• Create Technical Documentation of flows, data diagrams, and topology.
• Lead Engineering Excellence through code reviews and prototypes.
• Mentor Engineers in Azure networking and automation.
• Implement Governance & Security Controls for safe environments.
• Collaborate with architects, executives, and product teams to align solutions.
• Support Operations including on-call rotations.
