Job summary

Oracle in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and implement large-scale cloud networking initiatives within the Network Region Build (NRB). You will design, deploy, operate global networks, automate tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Candidates should have strong Python scripting, deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS), datacenter design, and experience with OpenConfig/NETCONF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data-center design.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, MPLS) and Internet peering.
• Exposure to network hardware and scripting/automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead network lifecycle programs with defined objectives and delivery procedures.
• Decompose high-level architectures into detailed designs and lead engineers.
• Serve as technical SME in cross-functional activities and as escalation point for complex issues.
• Develop scripts to automate tasks and contribute to network automation projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and product teams to address gaps and needs.
