Job summary

State Street Corporation in the United States seeks a full-stack, cloud-native engineer to enhance the Enhanced OTC Module. You will build a modern JavaScript front end and a Java-based backend deployed on Azure, while supporting customer-facing and internal teams through troubleshooting and domain expertise.

You will design, develop, test, and debug software across Java, C#, SQL, and React, with code reviews and automated testing as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise-grade software in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Strong Java development background in cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with React or Angular for front-end work.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Kafka is beneficial.
• Proficiency in OO programming, relational databases, and scripting.
• Ability to collaborate in Agile teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug medium- to large-scale software in Java, C#, SQL, and React.
• Provide code reviews and technical guidance.
• Build automated tests and contribute to testing frameworks.
• Document design specs and APIs; support customer-facing docs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-team initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
