Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to work across the full stack, combining Java backend with React frontend. You will design, build, and deploy cloud-native microservices and AI-enabled features in a collaborative, agile environment.

The role emphasizes API design (REST/GraphQL), scalable architectures, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases, plus cloud and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, API, and distributed apps using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of AI APIs for implementing AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React and UI technologies.
• Develop cloud-native solutions with microservices and serverless paradigms (Spring Boot).
• Design APIs (REST/GraphQL) and implement AI API integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
