Job summary

A State Department is seeking a full-stack Java & React developer to contribute to IT program objectives through the development of services shared by multiple project teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining micro-service applications hosted in the Azure cloud, collaborating with both technical and business staff. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of Java experience and at least 3 years of working with React and micro-services. Strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in developing micro-services with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience writing REST APIs with Open API specifications.
• 3+ years HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
• 3+ years in modern SPA frameworks like React.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug application code.
• Design and deploy micro-service databases in Azure.
• Conduct unit, integration, and customer acceptance testing.
• Prepare documentation for code and applications.
