Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Senior IT Application Manager to lead a high-performing team building, modernizing, and supporting cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform. You will oversee front-end and back-end development, APIs, microservices, and data integrations while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.

The role requires strong leadership in Agile delivery, production support, and collaboration with architects, product owners, and cyber security teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on application development experience with Java/Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• 3+ years leading or managing application development teams in Agile environments.
• 3+ years of cloud-native development with GCP or similar public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of cloud-native applications on GCP with full-stack practices.
• Mentor a team responsible for front-end, back-end, APIs, data processing, and production support.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using microservices, containers, and modern integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership for Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL, messaging, and event-driven architecture.
• Oversee Agile delivery activities and release readiness.
