Huntington Bank in Columbus, OH is seeking a Lead Java/GCP Developer to design and implement complex IT solutions aligned with our enterprise architecture. You will own the technical delivery of cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, GCP, and Kafka, delivering scalable REST APIs and event-driven processing.

You will collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, and product teams, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field/experience.
• 5-7+ years of software engineering and enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery.
