Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Worldwide Public Sector to accelerate customers' cloud adoption, migration, and modernization journeys.

You will qualify, develop, and close large-scale migration engagements with enterprise customers and partners. You will work with enterprise account teams, solution architects, and CSMs to design target architectures, plan migrations, and drive customer success while mentoring others on best practices in migration and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience in areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Creating, articulating, and positioning a compelling value proposition for migrating to AWS.
• Defining and executing technical migration strategies with AWS teams and partners.
• Delivering modern architectures such as microservices and event-driven designs.
• Engaging with customer IT teams to identify patterns and architectures for cloud migration.
• Driving co-development of new go-to-market approaches with the Geo business lead.
• Identifying platform improvements and influencing Migration Acceleration Program iterations.
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and close deals.
• Engaging with C-level executives to drive enterprise cloud migration strategies.
