Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the AWS Worldwide Public Sector team in the Denver area.

You will drive customer engagements, design migration and modernization plans, and help customers accelerate cloud adoption with large-scale data center migrations and application refactoring. You will partner with enterprise account teams, solution architects, and CSMs to deliver technical assessments and reliable, scalable cloud architectures tailored to customer goals

Qualifications

8+ years of technology domain experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

Create, articulate, and position a compelling value proposition for migrating to AWS.
Define and execute migration strategies with technical teams within AWS.
Deliver modern architectures using microservices and cloud native capabilities.
Engage with customer IT groups to identify repeatable cloud migration patterns.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities and close deals.
Engage executives to inspire and execute enterprise cloud migration strategies.
