Job summary

Raya is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to design and lead scalable cloud platforms. You will own Kubernetes orchestration, AWS architectures, and CI/CD enhancements to support rapid product development.

You will mentor team members, implement observability with Datadog/Prometheus, and drive cost optimization while maintaining reliability and security.

This role demands hands-on leadership across multi-region deployments, IaC tooling, and collaboration with security and software teams.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design scalable, production-ready infrastructure.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise.
• Experience with AWS and IaC tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go, Ruby).

Responsibilities

• Design and build major new infrastructure components and platforms for Raya.
• Lead our Kubernetes strategy and production orchestration.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance and resource efficiency.
• Implement SLOs, monitoring, and observability.
• Design scalable AWS architectures across regions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution.
• Improve existing infrastructure with incremental enhancements.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster, safer releases.
• Integrate AI tools into infrastructure workflows.
• Collaborate on security to enforce secure-by-design infra.
• Design cost-effective infrastructure and optimization strategies.
• Mentor other infrastructure engineers.
