Job summary

The Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) in Illinois is seeking a seasoned Integration and Development Manager to lead the IDEC digital ecosystem, coordinate vendor work, and ensure strict adherence to the DoIT ALM framework and standard code templates.

You will design automated workflows, APIs, and secure data pipelines for cloud integrations, mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement while serving the public sector from Chicago.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in software/CS or related field.
• Three years' leadership experience in systems integration and cloud automation.
• Three years' experience with SDLC, CI/CD, and enterprise integrations.
• Three years' supervision of technical teams or vendors.
• Three years' experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure/M365.

Responsibilities

• Lead IDET digital ecosystem as technical owner, ensuring ALM compliance with DoIT framework.
• Translate requirements into technical user stories and specifications for IDEC portfolio.
• Serve as primary technical liaison to external vendors and partner organizations.
• Design, develop, and deliver automated workflows, APIs, and secure integration pipelines.
• Stay current on cloud, AI, and digital services through training, demos, and conferences.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the role.
