Job summary

First Choice Health Network seeks a senior, hands-on Cloud, Network, and Linux Engineer to lead networking, cloud infrastructure (AWS and OCI), and Linux systems. This builder role designs, automates, and scales critical systems while mentoring the infrastructure team for best practices.

You will implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted tooling, managing on-prem and cloud environments in a regulated healthcare setting with PHI compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of senior-level experience administering Linux systems in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience administering and implementing systems in OCI and AWS, plus on-prem.
• 3+ years of Python scripting experience.
• 5+ years of senior-level experience with network administration and routing across on-prem and cloud environments.
• 3+ years of Python scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for networking, cloud, and Linux best practices.
• Set and document technical standards for the infrastructure team.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager) to provision and scale systems.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and internal systems deployments.
• Develop internal automation tooling to increase reliability and reduce manual work.
• Manage on-call rotation and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Oversee EDI system management and monitor automated scripting for EDI transmissions.
