Job summary

Jack Henry Digital is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the Cloud Infrastructure team. You will design and operate core systems enabling scalable and reliable delivery of services in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

You’ll collaborate with product engineering to power core business functions like transactions and payments, while maintaining high availability and security. Remote work is possible within the United States, excluding California.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years in software development or related field.
• Experience with Go, Python, or Rust.
• Hands-on with containerized apps and Terraform.
• Experience in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux shell and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build core infrastructure systems for development teams.
• Debug production infrastructure issues across services; perform root-cause analysis.
• Design and operate reliable systems with automated workload movement and failure avoidance.
• Use Go/Python to enhance platform solutions and developer velocity.
• Collaborate with engineers to promote best practices and coding standards.
• Partner with teams to align platform solutions with product needs.
• Own complex technical challenges and drive to completion.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
