Job summary

Aqua IT is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join a government MBSE cloud platform supporting digital threads and AI-ready data structures. You will deploy, secure, and maintain Linux/Windows cloud infrastructure, COTS apps, and containerized solutions using IaC/AaC within an Agile, DevSecOps environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to performance tuning, and produce comprehensive documentation and presentations for leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
• DoDD 8140 security certification (Security+ CE).

Responsibilities

• Provide platform and infrastructure technical services across systems, infrastructure, tools, and interfaces.
• Design, configure and deploy platform infrastructure and applications in cloud environments.
• Maintain COTS applications in a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate with engineering resources and customers to improve user interfaces and meet requirements.
• Support operations with root-cause analysis, remediation, and documentation.
• Prepare test plans and validate new features, services and bug fixes.
• Configure IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resources with platforms and applications.
• Prepare technical presentations for government and senior leadership.
• Work effectively in a team environment and across Linux/Windows infra.
• Communicate status to management and customers clearly.
• Maintain engineering rigor including configuration management and testing.
• Develop as part of an Agile scrum team.
