About the Role

Rollstack is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and secure the foundation of our growing infrastructure. As we increasingly support enterprise customers, we are scaling our networking capabilities to deliver custom network solutions to connect to our customer’s private data sources. You will lead network integration discussions, automate infrastructure provisioning, and elevate our security posture, empowering Rollstack to scale securely and efficiently.

This role will be instrumental in developing Rollstack’s cloud infrastructure and security strategy. You will collaborate closely with our engineering, DevOps, and customer success teams to deliver robust solutions and directly impact Rollstack’s capacity to serve Fortune 500 customers. This role reports directly to our CTO.

What You Will Do

• Lead Infrastructure Integrations: Engage with enterprise customers to understand their network requirements and design custom, secure networking solutions to facilitate data connectivity.
• Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Develop automated workflows for provisioning dedicated instances, primarily using Terraform, to support scalable customer onboarding.
• Optimize ArgoCD & Kustomize: Enhance our current ArgoCD and Kustomize configurations for efficient, secure instance deployment.
• Elevate Security Practices: Lead and manage all infrastructure security requirements, including vulnerability management, encryption standards, and compliance efforts.
• Support DevOps Operations: Oversee Rollstack’s core AWS infrastructure using EKS, Tailscale, and other cloud-native solutions to ensure high performance and resilience.

Who We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, ideally within a high-growth SaaS company.
• Proven expertise in AWS with hands-on experience in EKS, network configuration, and infrastructure as code (especially Terraform).
• Strong networking skills, with experience designing and implementing complex networking architectures, VPNs, and secure data pipelines for enterprise customers.
• A security-minded engineer experienced in securing cloud infrastructure, managing access controls, and meeting compliance requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Kustomize, and container orchestration.
• Problem-solver and proactive communicator, able to work cross-functionally and engage directly with customers to meet their infrastructure requirements.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
