Komodo Health, Inc. is seeking a senior technical voice for its cloud infrastructure and shared services.

You will shape architecture and modernization, defining AI-assisted patterns and partnering with Engineering, Security, IT, and Data teams to meet regulatory demands and evolving healthcare data challenges. You will own the standards for AI-assisted infrastructure, guide platform modernization, and drive reliability, security, and cost.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering with production-scale AWS.
• IaC using Terraform as default approach.
• Owns Kubernetes platform and operations.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and safe usage.
• Fluent in security/compliance in regulated environments (HIPAA/SOC2).
• Has staff-level influence and ability to raise standards and enablement.
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
• Knowledge of IAM/RBAC and least-privilege security.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and modernization roadmap for cloud infra and shared services.
• Design and operate AWS/Kubernetes infra as code (Terraform) via GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Set standards for AI-assisted infra work and scale team fluency.
• Strengthen security posture: least privilege, IAM, network boundaries, secrets hygiene aligned to SOC2.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and cost through informed tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers, raise standards, and improve runbooks and documentation.
• Contribute to on-call rotation, incident response, and runbooks.
