Job summary

Komodo Health seeks an infrastructure leader to own the architecture and modernization of its cloud infrastructure and shared services across AWS and Kubernetes. You will implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, delivered through GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions), while setting standards for AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering with scale.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience and security focus.
• Terraform IaC as default working mode.
• Kubernetes platform ownership and operation experience.
• Ownership of ambiguous/under-documented systems.
• Fluency with AI-assisted engineering tools and safe usage.
• Security/compliance fluency in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, operating model, and modernization roadmap for cloud infra and shared services.
• Design, build, and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as code (Terraform) delivered via GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Set standards and safe patterns for AI-assisted infra work and raise team fluency.
• Harden security and compliance posture, least-privilege access, and secrets hygiene.
• Drive infra optimization across reliability, scalability, developer experience, and cost.
• Raise technical bar through design reviews, mentorship, and enablement.
• Participate in and improve on-call rotation, incident response, and runbooks.
