Job summary

Tennr in New York City is seeking a senior DevOps engineer to own the cloud, clusters, and environments that power our infrastructure. You will design our Kubernetes foundation, run dev, staging, and production end to end, and keep AWS footprint secure, clean, and cost-aware as we scale.

We value hands-on ownership and a proactive approach; the patterns you set become the standard for the engineering org, while you drive migrations and observability improvements with Datadog.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of infra/DevOps with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and IaC (Terraform).
• Strong AWS fundamentals and cost-conscious ops.
• Observability experience with Datadog or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build out the EKS module patterns and empower other teams.
• Own cluster management and end-to-end dev/stage/prod builds.
• Drive migrations, ensuring safety, staging, and low drama.
• Consolidate observability with Datadog and define standards.
• Manage AWS networking, IAM, and core services as code; secure by default.
