FormAssembly is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure AWS environments for federal government and private sector clients. You will drive automation, IaC, and secure CI/CD pipelines while advancing serverless and containerized architectures.

You will implement Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, and Pulumi, work with Docker, ECS, Lambda, and maintain monitoring with NewRelic. Strong Linux, scripting, and communication are essential for success.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of hands-on Systems/DevOps with a strong focus on AWS.
• US citizenship; ability to pass a rigorous background check.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Strong Linux knowledge including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in automation scripting and CI/CD security best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS environments and services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS) using IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) and embed DevSecOps practices in workflows.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage on AWS ECS for scalability and efficiency.
• Implement monitoring and logging (New Relic) and real-time alerting for reliability.
• Ensure security and compliance with IAM, VPC, WAF, TLS/SSL, and standards (NIST, FedRAMP, SOC2).
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to streamline processes and improve communication.
