Hitachi Vantara seeks a Solutions Engineer to bridge cloud infrastructure and customer solutions. You’ll design, build, and test architectures blending virtualization with cloud-native ecosystems across bare-metal, VM, and containerized environments.

Responsibilities include deploying Kubernetes and OpenStack-based stacks, automating with Terraform and Ansible, and integrating KVM and kube-virt within Kubernetes clusters. Strong scripting in Python/Bash is essential.

Formación

• Proven hands-on experience with containerization and virtualization.
• Deep, production-grade experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem tools.
• Proven track record deploying and managing OpenStack components.
• Strong understanding of KVM and running VMs inside Kubernetes using Kube-virt.

Responsabilidades

• Architecture & Deployment: design robust infra with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and OpenStack.
• IaC: automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Hybrid Virtualization: manage KVM and Kube-virt across clusters.
• Automation & Scripting: write Python and Bash to automate tasks and build tools.
• Infrastructure Management: optimize compute, storage and networking for high availability.
• Technical Consultation: translate infra needs into scalable engineering designs.
