Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Technical Cloud Architect for private cloud workloads, focusing on KVM-based virtualization and the surrounding ecosystem. You will engage with large strategic customers, run PoCs, author design guides, and feed product insights back to engineering.

The role is hybrid with 2 days on-site at a Colorado office, and teams collaborate across engineering, product, and sales to drive deployment at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with KVM-based virtualization and the surrounding ecosystem (automation, observability, SDN, HCI storage).
• Deep hands-on experience with VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix, or hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with large strategic customers on technical and architectural discussions as an SME for KVM virtualization and related cloud infra.
• Design and execute PoCs to demonstrate value and validate architecture decisions in customer environments.
• Author design guides and reference architectures documenting deployment, scaling, and operations best practices.
• Provide structured product feedback to engineering representing the voice of the customer and helping shape the roadmap.
• Partner with sales, product management, and customer success to support the technical sales cycle from discovery through deployment.
