Job summary

SolarWinds is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, identity, and operational reliability. The role expands beyond CI/CD to responsibility for core infrastructure and self-service capabilities.

You will manage Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Entra ID, VMware, and on-call operations, drive automation with PowerShell and Terraform, support CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions, and collaborate with Security, IAM, and Platform teams to improve provisioning,

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or IT operations.
• Hands-on with Azure, AD/Entra ID, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of AWS and VMware.
• Experience with identity and access management and privileged administration.
• Scripting or automation experience, especially PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
• Security-minded approach to access and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware, and related infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, certificates, backups, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, access, and service issues; provide senior escalation support.
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid-cloud operations.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Improve provisioning, access lifecycle management, monitoring, and audit processes.
• Support CI/CD, GitHub, developer environments, and shared platform services.
• Move the team toward self-service capabilities.
