Qualifications

• Current and active TS/SCI clearance
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a related field
• 3-5 years of strong Java development skills
• Geospatial data processing experience and PostgreSQL or spatial databases
• 3+ years of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm or similar
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus or similar
• Willingness to learn current and emerging technologies
• Willing to work a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to design, build, and maintain scalable backend software solutions
• Develop and optimize big data pipelines to process massive geospatial datasets
• Design and deploy AWS cloud-native backend services and capabilities
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies as requirements evolve
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, system bottlenecks, and production bugs
• Participate in planning, design, and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
