Job summary

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer - Cloud and Geospatial Data to join our FADE team in Denver, CO. You will design and build scalable cloud services and pipelines for large geospatial datasets, balancing backend performance with reliable data processing at scale in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling, plus TS/SCI clearance and a related degree.

Qualifications

• Current and active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, etc.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3–5+ years of strong Java development skills.
• Experience with geospatial data processing and Postgres.
• 3+ years with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm or similar
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus or similar).
• Willing to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, build, and maintain scalable backend software solutions.
• Develop and optimize big data pipelines for geospatial datasets.
• Design and deploy AWS cloud-native backend services.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies as requirements evolve.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and production bugs.
• Participate in planning, design, and code reviews to maintain standards.
