CACI is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud and Geospatial Data in Denver, CO. Join the FADE team to design scalable cloud services and process large geospatial datasets, blending core software development with data engineering at scale.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, strong Java skills, and experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgres geospatial workloads; a TS/SCI clearance is required and a hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, etc.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3-5 years Java development experience
• Geospatial data processing experience
• 3+ years AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• DevOps pipelines experience (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus)
• Willing to work a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend software solutions
• Develop and optimize big data pipelines to process massive geospatial datasets
• Design and deploy AWS cloud-native backend services
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies as requirements evolve
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, system bottlenecks, and production bugs
• Participate in planning, design, and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and resiliency across backend services
