Job summary

FinOps Weekly is a fully remote company based in the United States seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Consultant. You will be the primary customer contact, guiding cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP with deep expertise in discount instruments.

Responsibilities include onboarding, implementing, and driving adoption of our autonomous platform, while collaborating with Product to shape offerings. Strong analytical and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field.
• Proven cloud FinOps experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Expertise in discount instruments: Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts, Sustained Use Discounts.
• Strong analytics and financial modeling abilities using Excel/SQL/BI tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of FinOps Weekly for customers and tackle complex cloud cost questions.
• Act as SME for committed discounts like RI and Savings Plans.
• Own onboarding and implementation, getting customers fluent in FinOps on our platform.
• Deliver great support, drive feature adoption, and partner with Product to improve offerings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Be the the face of the company for customers, tackling complex questions on cloud cost optimization. Own onboarding and implementation, getting customers fluent in FinOps and fully ramped on our platform. WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, etc. Proven experience in cloud FinOps with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong customer orientation and interpersonal communication skills, preferably with a background in consulting, technical account management, and/or customer success.
