Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Cloud and Hosting Services Analyst to analyze data and deliver cloud financial insights for our Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will generate reports across multi-cloud platforms, collaborate with global teams, support FinOps with KPIs, map data flows with Cloud Governance, and forecast costs while recommending optimizations.

Strong Excel, analytics, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, MIS or data analytics
• 5+ years IT/Business Analytics/IT Finance experience
• Strong Excel and data modeling skills
• Experience with multi-cloud cost management and FinOps practices
• Ability to analyze large datasets and extract insights
• Collaborative work with global teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Produce reports for multi-cloud platforms for management action
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to gather requirements
• Support FinOps by setting goals, KPIs, and data retrieval
• Map data processes with Cloud Governance for unified data sources
• Forecast cloud hosting costs and provide optimization recommendations
• Create month-end and quarter-end reports and drive data-driven decisions
