Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead a government-focused program from Hill AFB, Utah. You will guide a team of developers and engineers, shaping next-generation platforms with scalable, secure designs and APIs for interoperability.

You will drive cloud strategies across Azure/AWS/GCP, implement IaC/CaC, and mentor teams while ensuring cybersecurity and efficient operations on a high-profile national mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 12+ years of related IT or Program Management experience.
• BS/MS Eng., Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• 14 yrs (12 yrs with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead identification of business and technical challenges and develop advanced technical solutions.
• Lead architectural design of next-generation platforms for scalability and resilience.
• Define integration patterns and APIs for interoperability with third-party systems.
• Advise on cybersecurity and operational efficiency best practices in IT.
• Provide expert IT guidance on cloud management strategies and architecture.
• Conduct architecture reviews, identify risks, and propose mitigations to leadership.
• Guide adoption of event-driven architectures, serverless computing, IaC and CaC.
• Integrate on-premises networks with hybrid cloud infrastructures and manage data migrations.
