Job summary

Addison Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Cloud & Systems Administrator to manage Azure infrastructure, IAM, and hybrid IT operations. This role offers hands-on experience with Azure, 365, Entra ID, and cloud automation, reporting to senior IT leadership.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of IT support or systems administration and is eager to expand cloud engineering skills, with opportunities to own infrastructure projects and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Basic PowerShell scripting and an understanding of networking concepts.
• Identity and access management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and resources.
• Support identity and access management through Entra ID, including MFA and SSO configurations.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and assist with backup, disaster recovery, and security initiatives.
• Configure and troubleshoot virtual networks, DNS, VPN, firewall rules, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Assist with cloud automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, including permissions and migrations.
• Manage endpoint configurations through Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Provide Tier 1/2 IT support for hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base resources.
• Collaborate with senior IT to implement infrastructure improvements and strengthen security.
