Job summary

Radford, VA-based IPTA is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a managed service provider delivering hosting and cloud services across public and private clouds (Azure, AWS). You will move on-premises applications to the cloud, engineer secure transport, automate infrastructure, and support CI/CD pipelines while applying DoD STIGs and IA vulnerability management.

Requires mid- to senior-level cloud experience, Security+ or equivalent IA certification, and active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer science or IT.
• Cloud computing environment certification (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Active Security Clearance Required.
• Mid- to senior-level cloud engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Engineer secure transport, including IPsec/VPN and BGP.
• Automate infrastructure and routine administrative tasks.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and code repositories.
• Apply DoD STIGs and IA vulnerability management to cloud environments.
