Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across public clouds. You will build IaC pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi and collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD, monitoring, and security.

You will mentor junior engineers and own infrastructure components from design through deployment in a 100% remote role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• US work location; Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS required.
• 3+ years of cloud infrastructure/DevOps experience preferred.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell; solid CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with software teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive infrastructure best practices.
