Job summary

Ellucian Company LLC in Reston, VA (HQ) is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to lead cloud architecture, IaC, and DevOps enablement for scalable, secure infrastructure across AWS and Azure.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor systems with CloudWatch, Datadog, and Grafana, and ensure IAM, encryption, and SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance. This is a 100% remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 36 months experience in infrastructure or DevOps engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and support of scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployments with IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Enforce security best practices including IAM, encryption, and SOC 2/ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor juniors.
• Document infrastructure and drive continuous improvement.
