Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead cloud modernization efforts across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will secure, administer, and improve cloud environments, focusing on E5 security, Intune, and identity management.

The role supports remote or hybrid work with occasional travel to regional offices. Ideal candidates have deep cloud and security expertise and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise systems administration.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure experience.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 E5 security capabilities, including Conditional Access, Defender, and Entra ID.
• Working experience with Google Cloud and Google Workspace.
• Strong understanding of SSO, identity and access management, device compliance, and endpoint security.
• Experience with Azure subscriptions, resource groups, Azure Arc, patching, and cloud operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP platforms, or Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Experience supporting AI-assisted applications or cloud-based application development is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently in a lean, growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud, and Google Workspace environments.
• Help secure and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 capabilities, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, and Purview.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Implement device-compliance policies, BitLocker key management, application deployment, and endpoint security controls.
• Support Windows Autopilot deployments and certificate-based Wi-Fi initiatives.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, monitoring, patching, and Azure Arc.
• Support identity, SSO, access management, and authentication initiatives.
• Assist with Google Cloud administration, Google Workspace support, and multi-cloud operations.
• Support cloud migrations and provide technical guidance on improving migration efficiency and reliability.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to support new cloud-based and AI-assisted applications.
• Troubleshoot escalated cloud, endpoint, identity, and security issues.
• Document standards, procedures, and operating practices while helping cross-train existing IT resources.
