Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization by migrating workloads from on-premises to Microsoft Azure. You will shape architecture, connectivity, and automation, while supporting a long-term cloud strategy in a hands-on role.

You will lead migrations, design scalable Azure and hybrid-cloud solutions, and advance operational standards across compute, storage, networking, and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering across enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
• Proven experience migrating production infrastructure or workloads from on-premises into Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure architecture, networking, compute, storage, security, and hybrid connectivity.
• Solid infrastructure background spanning virtualization, Windows Server, networking, storage, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with cloud migration planning, workload assessment, dependency analysis, testing, and production cutovers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or comparable IAC technologies.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity.
• Ability to independently own technical projects and make sound engineering decisions.
• Comfortable working in a lean environment with hands-on ownership.
• Strong communication with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-premises to Azure migrations and post-migration support.
• Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure and hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Develop cloud migration strategies for virtualized workloads.
• Lead Azure networking, ExpressRoute, connectivity, routing, DNS, and security.
• Support cloud security and application connectivity initiatives (e.g., Zscaler).
• Build infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Implement monitoring, backup, DR, and high-availability solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure, networking, Windows, and storage issues.
• Coordinate with data center, security, and application teams.
• Create technical docs, diagrams, deployment procedures, and runbooks.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
