Job summary

Outscale is seeking Cloud Engineers to design, deploy, and operate the IaaS layer of the Outscale cloud in Houston, TX or Secaucus, NJ. You will work at the intersection of PaaS and infrastructure, driving automation and expanding services to new regions.

Responsibilities include deploying the cloud platform, building IaC pipelines, and ensuring security, performance, and reliability while collaborating across engineering, security, product and support teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in infrastructure/cloud engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• US Citizenship; eligibility for security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain the Outscale cloud platform with focus on scalability and security.
• Build and maintain IaC and automation pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Packer, Jenkins.
• Automate deployments, upgrades, and regional expansions with auditable release processes.
• Improve platform performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
