Job summary

ERT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for the ALTESS cloud services infrastructure. The role involves supporting managed cloud services across various platforms. Candidates must hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance and have a minimum of 5 years in IT or Computer Science.

The ideal applicant will possess strong automation skills and be familiar with CI/CD processes. The salary range is between $100,000.00 and $140,000.00.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Computer Science or IT.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure.
• Migrate on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects effectively.

Skills

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent IA cert)

5 years' experience in Computer Science or IT

Experience with IPSEC/VPN and other secure transport technologies

Experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud

Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)

Working knowledge of code repositories (Git)

Familiarity with DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management

CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Travis CI, etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
