Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a DoD-focused program at Ft. Meade, MD, onsite five days a week.

You will design, implement, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructures in AWS and Azure, plus on-prem deployments, collaborating with a team of SMEs to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years in cloud engineering, security clearance eligibility, and strong automation skills across CI/CD, scripting, and infrastructure as code to support critical

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 10–12 years of related experience.
• DoD 8140 compliant with active IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 20% as needed.
• 5–7 years designing, engineering, and deploying infrastructure in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and support a team to implement multi-cloud solutions in an agile environment.
• Leverage automation, container orchestration, security, and cloud services for large DoW programs.
• Architect, design, and maintain cloud solutions in AWS/Azure and on-prem deployments.
• Assist in partner network integration, testing, and monitoring.
• Other duties as assigned.
