Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain distributed systems for cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.

You will work on microservices, event-driven architectures, and scalable cloud components that power our AI-native platform. You will collaborate across teams to integrate backend services with frontend solutions, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices, containers, message queues, and service meshes.
• Experience deploying cloud-based solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP with IaC and auto-scaling.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience building REST APIs with modern frameworks and secure auth.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with performance-focused coding.
• Strong debugging with distributed tracing and logging stacks.
• Collaborative coding with code reviews and PR management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for cloud cybersecurity solutions.
• Create distributed architecture for endpoint management platforms.
• Contribute to sensor telemetry and system debuggability initiatives.
• Build high-performance cloud infrastructure components and ensure reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with frontend/backend teams.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Implement microservices architecture for scalability and event-driven systems.
